Leah Bassow enters her second season as a graduate assistant for the men's and women's cross country programs.
Bassow, a former AUM women's soccer player and cross country runner, still appears on the women's cross country all-time performance lists in a number of categories for the Warhawks.
She still ranks second on the all-time 4K Top 10 list for AUM with a 15:29.00 at the Jacksonville State University Struts Invitational on Sept. 6, 2016. Bassow's 18:51.70 5K time at the Queens University of Charlotte Royals Challenge also ranks her fifth in program history.
Bassow also owns the fourth and fifth-best 6K times for AUM with a 23:07.20 at the 2016 Crimson Classic and a 23:21.38 at the Falcon Classic in 2016.
Bassow is the daughter of Christian Bassow and Brigit Stoeckmann.
