2026-27: Minor enters her second year as head coach for the Warhawks this season.
2025-26: Minor guided the Warhawks through the inaugural season of the women’s golf program in 2025-26. Under her leadership, AUM recorded six top-10 finishes, highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the Tiger Spring Invitational. The Warhawks closed the season at the Gulf South Conference Championship, posting a season-best three-round score of 317 (+29). Individually, Ashley Nelson earned Gulf South Conference Golfer of the Week honors and was named to the GSC All-Academic Team. Nelson and Aubrie Medford also garnered CSC Academic All-District recognition.
Auburn University at Montgomery has named Haley Minor as the first-ever women's golf head coach in program history, as announced by Director of Athletics Erik Maas in September of 2024.
Minor has spent four years as a college head coach and brings five years of Division I experience to AUM.
"We are delighted to welcome Haley to AUM as our new women's golf program's first head coach," Maas said. "Coach Minor has competed and coached at the highest level of college golf and is well-equipped to build this program from its infancy. We are excited to see her grow the program, shape a culture and tradition, and develop our future student-athletes, both on the course and in the classroom."

Minor served as the head coach of the women's golf program at Samford University from 2017-20, leading the Bulldogs to 16 top-10 finishes across two-plus seasons. The squad had a 302.56 stroke average in 2019-20 prior to the COVID-19 shutdown in mid-March.
She spent the previous two seasons as an assistant at UAB and Campbell from 2015-17, helping the Camels to the 2016 Big South Conference title and an NCAA Tournament berth. Minor got her start in coaching at Point University in West Point, Georgia as an assistant in 2013-14 before being elevate to the head job a year later.
Minor played collegiately at Auburn University from 2009-12 where she was a member of three Southeastern Conference Championship teams (2009, 2011 and 2012), and was named to the 2009 All-SEC Freshman team.
During her collegiate career, she recorded 12 top-20 finishes including seventh-place at the 2011 UCF Challenge, seventh at the 2010 SEC Championship and 11th at the 2011 SEC Championship. She completed her career with a 75.3 career stroke average over 104 rounds, ranking tenth in program history at the time.
Minor turned pro in 2012 and competed in the 2012 United States Open. She also played in the 2012 Tennessee Open where she finished third and added a 12th place finish at the 2012 LPGA Texas Open.
Minor graduated from Auburn in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in communications.
Last month, AUM announced the addition of women's golf to the intercollegiate athletic program. The Warhawks will begin play in the fall of 2025.
