Jesse Firman has been hired as the new Director of Athletic Communications for Auburn University at Montgomery, Athletic Director
Erik Maas announced Monday, Sept. 15. Firman previously spent two years as the Associate Director of Strategic Communications for Presbyterian College Athletics in Clinton, South Carolina, serving as primary contact for baseball, women's basketball, women's volleyball, women's golf and women's tennis.
"I am truly honored to join the Warhawk family," Firman said. "The athletics department has built a strong reputation for excellence, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success by highlighting the impactful stories of our student-athletes, coaches, and programs."
Firman will serve as the Warhawks primary media contact and coordinate athletic communications operations, while also managing
AUMAthletics.com and social media accounts.

"Jesse has a passion for promoting and story-telling, and we are excited to see how he can elevate the visibility of our programs and strengthen the connection between our student-athletes, our programs, our campus and our community. A native of Ithaca, New York, Firman is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta with a degree in media studies. He began his career as an undergraduate in the SUNY Oneonta Athletics Department in Spring 2023, serving as the Red Dragon's baseball contact.
