Brown put together a standout week for the Warhawks, highlighted by a career performance in AUM’s overtime battle against the University West Alabama. The sophomore poured in a season-high 41 points in the 99-95 overtime loss, setting career marks in points, steals (seven), and minutes played (38). Brown scored in every quarter and took over offensively in the third period, where she accounted for 17 points as AUM built an 18-point lead. She also added key buckets late in regulation to help force overtime, leading a Warhawks offense that set multiple season highs in the contest.
Last Saturday afternoon against the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Brown continued to contribute to the team, finishing with seven points and a team-high six rebounds, including four on the offensive glass. She added baskets and free throws during a third-quarter push. Brown’s effort across both games showcased her ability to impact the game as both a scorer and rebounder against strong GSC competition.
