Nelson competed in the Savannah State Spring Invitational on March 9-10. Throughout the tournament, Nelson posted a 221 (+5) across three rounds and placed second individually. This performance marked her best three-round collegiate outing to date. Nelson opened the tournament with an impressive 73 (+1) and tallied two birdies to kick off the first round.  During the second round, Nelson recorded 75 (+3). She again tallied two birdies to end the day.  Nelson carded a 73 (+1) in the third round, adding two more birdies to conclude the tournament.
