CLEVELAND, Tenn. ----- The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team fell to Lee University 6-0 Friday night on the road.
NOTES
• AUM fell to 2-4, while Lee improved to 3-3.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Freshman
Alexis Arriaga led the Warhawks with four shots during the game, and placed one on frame.
• Junior
Christian Young added three shots with two one goal for AUM.
• Sophomore
William York added the final shot on goal for the Warhawks, and ended the night with two shots in total.
• Drew Jackson, Rob Cutchin, Jose Orellana, David Perez, Arturo Rocha and Jake Molony scored for the Flames.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Lee took an early lead just 20 seconds into the match for Jackson's second goal of the year.
• Lee tallied its second goal of the match in the 11
th minute on a cross from Jackson that found Perez to make the score 2-0.
• AUM put three shots on frame in the first half, but were unable to score as Lee led 2-0 at the half.
• Lee tallied three additional goals in the second half.
• AUM totaled nine shots in the second half with only one being on frame, as Lee took the victory 6-0.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Lee finished the match with 19 total shots, and 11 on frame. AUM tallied 16 shots throughout the match with four being on target
• AUM led Lee in corner kicks 8-4.
• Lee picked up four saves during the match, while AUM added five.
