ALEXANDRIA, La. ----- LSU-Alexandria's Rhiannon Castle netted the only goal of the contest in the 12th minute to send the Generals to a 1-0 victory over the visiting Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team Sunday.
 
NOTES
• The Warhawks fell to 2-3-1 on the season with the loss.
• The Generals improved to 4-4 on the year.
 
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Bronte Cintrone led all players with five shots, including two of which were on goal.
• Michaela Dahlin added a pair of shots, both of which were on target.
• Courtney Omodei, Ruby Mendez, Chelsie China and Agnes Edlund also had shots.
• Morgan Glenn stopped four shots in the goal.
• Castle led the Generals with four shots, including her fifth goal of the season.
• Macarena Errazuriz assisted on the Castle goal.
• Hannah Hebert and Carla Tejas combined for a shutout in goal for LSUA, stopping five total shots.
• Jessica Sanchez added three shots, all on goal, for the Generals.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• At the 11:29 mark of the opening period, Castle scored the lone goal of the match, beating Glenn on the left post. Errazuriz collected the assist on the play.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Each team tallied 11 shots, with the Warhawks holding a 6-5 advantage in shots on goal.
• The Generals had three corner kicks, compared to a pair for AUM.
