About the Warhawks
AUM (8-14, 1-9 GSC) returns to the friendly confines of the AUM Gymnasium following a pair of losses to Montevallo and Spring Hill College in a tri-match at Montevallo on Saturday, Oct. 21. The Warhawks average 9.6 kills on a .143 hitting percentage with 13.3 digs, 8.9 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 service aces.
 
Freshman outside hitter Skylar Coppinger leads the offense with 2.18 kills, followed by junior middle blocker Brianna Garvin who averages 2.14 terminations on a team-best .296 hitting percentage with a team-high 0.81 blocks. Coppinger and Garvin get their feeds from junior setter Carly Smart, who dishes out 7.26 assists, while sophomore defensive specialist Haley Toler anchors the defense with 3.41 digs.
 
About the Golden Rams
Albany State (14-7, 12-3 SIAC) makes its first trip to AUM riding a five-match winning streak, most recently sweeping Morris College and Pain College at a tri-match on Saturday, Oct. 21. The Golden Rams average 11.1 kills on a .170 hitting percentage with 13.2 digs, 10.0 assists, 2.0 service aces and 1.6 blocks.
 
Justice Howard paces the Golden Rams' offense with 2.91 kills per set, getting the bulk of her feeds from Jahkishma Soto who boasts 8.15 assists while leading the team with 0.48 aces. Defensively, Jalesia McClenton averages 3.42 digs with Keonna Hobbs chipping in a team-best 0.74 blocks.
