MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery volleyball team returns to action this weekend with home matches against the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the University of North Alabama coming to the AUM Athletics Complex. AUM opens the weekend docket against UAH on Friday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. with a match against UNA slated for the following day at 2 p.m.

About the Warhawks
AUM (7-9, 1-5 GSC) returns to the AUM Athletics Complex following a 3-0 loss to West Florida 3-0 last Saturday. The Warhawks average 10.2 kills on a .163 hitting percentage with 13.4 digs, 9.4 assists, 1.2 service aces and 1.2 blocks.
Individually, junior middle blocker
Brianna Garvin ranks in the top-10 of the GSC in hitting percentage and blocks per sets with a .325 clip and a 0.83 average, placing her fifth and ninth, respectively, while also contributing 2.13 kills. Junior setter
Carly Smart also ranks among the best in the Gulf South Conference, boasting the sixth-best assists per set rate at 7.72. Sophomore defensive specialist
Haley Toler paces the defense with 3.67 digs per set, ranking eighth in the conference, while freshman outside hitter

About the Chargers
Alabama in Huntsville (12-7, 3-3 GSC) comes into Friday's tri-match on a two-match losing skid, most recently falling to Lee on Tuesday 3-1. The Chargers lead the GSC in blocks with 2.1 per set while also
averaging 12.5 kills on a .199 hitting percentage with 15.8 digs, 11.5 assists and 1.6 aces.
Haley Hop anchors the defense, and leads the Gulf South Conference, with 5.38 digs while Caroline Sanford boasts the second-best average in the league with 1.10 blocks. Anne Claire Johnson leads the offense with 2.43 kills and 0.34 service aces, both team-highs, while Kirsten Giles chips in a team-best 6.30 assists.
About the Lions
North Alabama (15-3, 5-1 GSC) enters the weekend bout following a sweep of Shorter on Tuesday and have been victorious in their last five matches. The Lions rank second in the league with 13.8 kills, 13.14 assists and a .247 hitting percentage while also boasting 16.9 digs, 1.8 service aces and 1.6 blocks.
Lexie Bradley leads the Lions and the conference with 4.23 kills per set while Jessica Austin chips in 3.73 terminations on a team-best .416 clip with 0.66 blocks. Jayden Davilamcclary masterminds the offense with a GSC-leading 11.29 assists per set rate while Ashtyn Kapovich paces the defense with 4.94 digs which ranks third in the league.
