MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team team took on Christian Brothers University in a road Gulf South Conference match on Friday evening, falling to the hosts Pirates 7-0.
NOTES
• AUM falls to 0-11 on the season, 0-4 in Gulf South Conference action.
• Christian Brothers improves to 6-4 with a 5-1 mark in league action.

Alexis Arriaga took a team-best two shots with one landing on target.

Tiuri Schieving each took one shot on goal.
• Senior goalkeeper
Stephen Ingram recorded two saves, while freshman
Justin Presor added one in his second collegiate outing.
• Brendan Bennett of CBU scored three goals off three shots with Lao, Ferreira, Djordjie Djordjovic and Rodman all logging one score.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Bennett put the home side ahead early, scoring goals 2:45 and 5:51 into the contest. Djordjovic added one more tally before the intermission with 0:29 seconds remaining in the half.
• Bennett completed the hat trick at the 50:42 mark on an unassisted goal. CBU added goals at the 56:57, 64:20 and 76:43 marks.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• AUM finished with six shots, half on goal, versus 21 shots with 10 on target for CBU
• Both sides finished with three saves.
• AUM had 14 fouls with two cautions while the hosts had eight fouls with one yellow card.

AUM concludes its weekend trip in Tennessee on Sunday, Oct. 8 when they take on Union University. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
