AUM (2-0) goes into the home opener following back-to-back one-possession victories at the GSC/SIAC Challenge, hosted by the University of Montevallo, ending play with a 52-49 triumph over Miles College. The Warhawks average 56.5 points, 41 rebounds, 10.5 assists, 7.5 steals and four blocks.
 
Junior guard/forward Jemaiya Lee has led AUM in scoring in both games, averaging 18 points on a .565 clip with a team-best eight rebounds per game. Freshman guard Makaylla Bullard chips in nine points per game on a team-best .667 field goal percentage while junior guard/forward  Evelina Avleeva averages three assists and two steals.
 
About the Knights
Middle Georgia State (2-3) heads into the matchup on a two-game skid, most recently falling 78-64 to the College of Coastal Georgia. The Knights average 61 points, 42.8 rebounds, 12.6 steals, 10.8 assists, and 0.8 blocks.
 
Dexshalyn Polite leads Middle Georgia State in scoring with 14.4 points per game while average 3.2 rebounds and two steals. TyAsia Grayer grabs a team-best 10.8 boards per game, with Ilyn Spann averages 4.6 assists and three steals per game.
