MONTGOMERY, Ala.– The Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team concluded the season with a thrilling 2-1 win on senior day against the Albany State Golden Rams. This marked the final regular season game for AUM.
NOTES
• AUM finishes the year with a 7-11 record while Albany State concludes their season with a 0-13 mark.

Morgan Glenn,
Caroline Booth,
Michaela Dahlin, and
Megan Kowalski were honored before the match as part of the senior day festivities.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Freshman forward
Stine Svaerke netted her seventh and eighth goals of the year in the winning effort.
• Albany State Forward Brittanie Evans scored her first goal of the season.
• Sophomore forward
Ruby Mendez led the Warhawks in shots with four in the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• AUM found the back of the net first in the 20
th minute when Svaerke finished a beautiful passing play that began with
Allison McCrimon feeding the ball to Stella Mazillo who then found the feet of Svaerke who slotted the ball past the keeper and to the right.
• The Lady Rams answered nine minutes later in the 29
th minute when Evans broke through the Warhawks backline and slotted the ball past the goalie up and to the left.
• Albany State dominated possession for the majority of the second half, as the Lady Rams were able to register eight shots but could not break through on the scoreboard.
• The Warhawks were able to find the game-winning goal in the 83
rd minute of the game when
Felicia Wester found the feet of Svaerke who then found herself alone in front of the keeper and beat the ASU goalie short side.
• AUM was able to hold on to their 2-1 lead for the final seven minutes of the game despite a barrage of attacks from the Lady Rams.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• AUM finished the match with 17 shots, with five on target. Albany State registered 13 shots with six on target.
• AUM led ASU in corner kicks 4-1
• The Lady Rams recorded three saves while the Warhawks picked up five.
