MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery volleyball team concludes its inaugural season this weekend with a pair of matches on the road. The Warhawks begin the final weekend of the season at West Alabama on Friday, Nov. 10 followed by Christian Brothers on Saturday, Nov. 11. Both matches are scheduled for 6 p.m.

AUM (9-19, 1-13 GSC) hits the road following a pair of home setbacks, falling to Valdosta State 3-2 in their most recent match. The Warhawks average 9.9 kills on a .140 hitting percentage with 13.5 digs, 9.2 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.3 service aces.

West Alabama (18-12, 10-4 GSC) goes into the weekend following a pair of road victories, most recently besting West Georgia 3-0 on Tuesday, Nov. 7. The Tigers average 12.8 kills on a .215 hitting percentage with 15.8 digs, 11.9 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.4 service aces.
Briana Sandifer leads the offense with 3.61 kills, the fifth-best average in the Gulf South Conference, getting the bulk of her feeds from Kassie Till who boasts the fifth-highest assist per set rate in the conference at 8.30. Defensively, Rebecca Johnson averages 3.53 digs while Donato Taylor average 0.75 blocks.
About the Bucs
Christian Brothers (14-18, 6-9 GSC) host the Warhawks after concluding their road schedule with a 3-1 loss to Union on Tuesday, Nov. 7. The Bucs average 11.4 kills on a .164 hitting percentage with 15.2 digs, 10.7 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.6 service aces.
Emma Lenoir paces the CBU, and ranks third in the Gulf South Conference, with 3.75 kills per set, getting the bulk of her feeds from Alexa Henderson who dishes out the third-most assists in the GSC with an 8.64 average while leading the Bucs with 0.41 service aces, the fifth-best rate in the league. On defense, Bylthe Clausen anchors the back line with 4.16 digs while Mary Kathryn Miller boasts 0.84 blocks.
