AUM (5-3, 1-1 GSC) heads into the conference tilt following a 66-59 victory over Spring Hill College in a contest that saw a season-high four Warhawks score in double-digits on Tuesday, Dec. 12. The Warhawks average 53.4 points, 33.5 rebounds, 13.3 assists, 9.6 steals and 3.3 blocks.
 
Junior guard/forward Evelina Avleeva leads the Warhawks in points and steals with marks of 11.8 and 3.0, respectively, followed by fellow junior guard/forward Jemaiya Lee who also averages double-digit points with 11.6 to go with a team-high 6.1 rebounds. Redshirt-senior guard Kyla Rooks dishes out a team-best 3.3 assists while redshirt-sophomore center Bailee Wolfe blocks a team-leading 1.4 shots per contest.
 
About the Statesmen
Delta State (3-5, 1-1 GSC) makes the trip to Montgomery on a two-game winning streak, most recently besting Southern Arkansas 53-49 on Wednesday, Dec. 13. The Statesmen average 53.4 points, 32.8 rebounds, 9.1 assists, 6.0 steals and 0.9 blocks.
 
Alondrea Rush paces the DSU offense with 15.3 points and 3.5 assists while sparking the defense with 1.5 steals. Takisha Jordan also averages double-digits with 12.0 points per game, with Raven Johnson pulling down a team-best 6.9 rebounds.
