HOW IT HAPPENED
• After a three up, three down by Hank Scott, the Warhawks offense came out hot in the bottom of the first inning.  After a single to lead off by Chandler, Tanner Russell doubled on an 0-2 count to tally the first run of the ballgame.  The next at bat, John-Mark Cosby drove in Curtiss Johnson to give the Warhawks a 2-0 advantage.
• In the top of the third, Bonilla singled up the middle to drive in two of his teammates to knot the game up at two.
• In the top of the fourth, Erickson sent a 1-0 fastball from Scott over the left field fence to give the Bulldogs their first lead of the game.
• In the bottom of the fifth, a double by Chandler led to a sacrifice fly from Curtiss Johnson to tie the game at three.
• After two singles put runners on the corners with no outs in the top of the ninth, Chase Johnson recorded two consecutive outs on pop outs.  The next hitter, Adrian Gonzalez sent a first pitch offering slowly through the left side of the infield to give Tennesse Wesleyan a 4-3 advantage.
• The first two hitters in the order for the Warhawks in the bottom of the ninth both went down, putting the pressure in the hands of Nathan Langley, who drew a walk on four pitches.  Curtiss Johnson followed with a single down the right field line and Langley advanced to third.  A pitching change followed suit and the closer Tolano was able to strike out Russell to end the game.  Bulldogs win 4-3.
