GAME 1 HOW IT HAPPENED
• AUM scored two runs in the opening inning for an early 2-0 lead over Christian Brothers. A Hendrix single to right-center scored Pinholster, and a fielder's choice from Persinger allowed Dishman to cross the plate.
• AUM added three additional runs in the bottom of the second after a double down the left field line from Pinholster plated Krueger. A Sparks single up the middle plated both Walker and Pinholster to give the Warhawks a 5-0 lead after two.
• A scoreless third led to the Warhawks picking up an additional run in the bottom of the fourth on a Persinger double down the right field line that knocked in Sparks.
• AUM scored its final run of the game in the bottom of the fifth on a Dishman single up the middle that plated Ragland to put the Warhawks ahead 7-0.
• Tiffany recorded two strikeouts in the final frame to seal her first career shutout, and give the Warhawks a 7-0 victory over the Buccaneers.
GAME 2 HOW IT HAPPENED
• AUM took the early lead in the home half of the first frame on a Walker double down the left field line that plated Pinholster.
• Spring Hill responded immediately in the top of the second on a Doiron double to left-center that scored Wilson to tie the game at 1.
• AUM retook the lead in the bottom of the third on a Sparks single to center that plated Pinholster to give the 2-1 advantage to the Warhawks.
• Neither team was able to plate a run in the fourth inning, as the Warhawks stranded three runners on base, but Spring Hill tied the game back up at two in the top of the fifth. A walk and an error put runners on second and third with one out, and a passed ball allowed Charnock to score the tying run.
• A scoreless sixth sent the game to the seventh with extra innings looming around the corner. However, three errors in the top of the inning allowed five runs to score for the Badgers, and four of the runs were unearned.
• AUM tallied two runs in the final inning on a triple from Persinger to deep right-center that scored Sparks and Walker. However, a groundout would end the game and give Spring Hill the 7-4 late victory.
