TALLADEGA, Ala. ---- The Auburn Montgomery baseball team split its doubleheader at Talladega College Saturday, falling 10-3 in the opener and winning the nightcap 15-6.

With the split, the Warhawks now stand at 16-18 on the season, while the Tornadoes are 26-16.

In game one,
Trevor Flynn and
Brandon Davis each had two hits for AUM, while Flynn,
Trey Matherson and
Nathan Langley drove in runs.
Â
Seth Arroyo fell to 1-4 on the season on the mound, after he allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings of work.
Hunter Hillyer,
William Gibson and
John-Mark Cosby also made pitching appearances in relief.

In game two, the Warhawks used a nine-run sixth inning to break open a tie game en route to the win. AUM had nine hits in the frame, including a three-run double by Davis and a two-run single by
Curtiss Johnson.

Johnson finished with four hits, three RBIs and two runs scored in the game, while Matherson, Langley, Davis,
Michael Tedford and
Scotty Smith all had multiple hits. AUM finished with 17 hits in game two.

Wade Bannister started for the Warhawks and allowed all six runs, surrendering six hits and walking six in 3 2/3 innings. Langley (1-1) earned the victory, allowing just one hit in 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.

The Warhawks and Tornadoes will play the fifth and final game of the season between the two teams on Tuesday, April 4 at 5 p.m. at the AUM Baseball Complex.
