LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. ------ After taking the first game on Friday 8-4, the Auburn Montgomery baseball team fell to the hands of the Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies on Saturday afternoon with a final of 10-0.

• The Grizzllies improved to 31-16.

Brandon Davis made his first appearance on the hill, striking out one in a scoreless frame.

• Brady Hamilton had a solo shot for the Grizzlies.
• Kyler Timmerman and Jean Figueroa each drove in two runs.
• Tyler Souris allowed three hits and struck out four in complete game shutout fashion for Georgia Gwinnett.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Figueroa led off the bottom of the first with a double for Georgia Gwinnett, scoring two hitters later on a McCorkle single. Deloney managed to escape the jam with three consecutive outs.
• After a single and a pair of bunts loaded the bases in the bottom of the second, Figueroa tallied his second hit in as many innings to increase the Grizzly lead to 3-0.Â
• A batter later, Timmerman doubled in two to chase Deloney from the game with the score at 5-0. Carrigan would eventually single off newly-entered
Seth Arroyo to increase the Georgia Gwinnett lead to a touchdown.
• Following a one-out triple by Bradley, a Sellers sacrifice fly increased the deficit to 7-0.
• Hamilton homered to lead off the bottom of the fourth, ending Arroyo's day. After a trio of singles off Bannister, Soto walked to push the lead to 9-0. Another run would eventually score on a wild pitch to create the final score line of 10-0.

• The Warhawks had the only defensive miscue of the game.
