MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer squad fell to Gulf South Conference rival Montevallo on Sunday afternoon, giving up three second half goals while playing a man down to fall by the final of 3-0 at the AUM Soccer Complex.
NOTES
• AUM falls to 0-7 on the season, with a 0-1 mark in conference play.
• The Warhawks remain winless on the season, and have dropped nine matches in a row dating back to last season.
• AUM has been outscored 25-1 on the year, with the Warhawks lone goal coming against Davenport on Sept. 8.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• The Falcons' Cesare Marconi notched two goals in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After entering the half tied a 0-0 Marconi took a through ball from teammate Liam Moore and sent a bullet past the right side of Ingram to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead in the 59
th minute.
• Two minutes later Marconi had a breakaway after a long pass from Hauer that set up an one vs. one with the keeper, as Marconi was able to chip it over Ingram's head as he came out to defend, putting Montevallo up 2-0 in the 61
st minute.
• Hauer then put the game out of reach in the 72
nd minute, scoring on a free kick from 35 yards out.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• AUM finished the match with nine shots (five on goal), while the Falcons tallied 18 shots (11 on goal).
• The Warhawks committed 16 fouls, compared to only nine for Montevallo.
• Both teams tallied four corner kicks.
