Ruby Mendez.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The first half of the game saw just eight shots between the two teams, West Alabama outshot AUM 6-2 in the first half.
• Wester recorded three saves for the Warhawks in the first half while
Ruby Mendez recorded the only two shots for AUM.
• Mendez netted her third goal of the season when she took a rebounded shot and pounded the ball past the keeper in the 49
th minute.
• Mendez found the net again just three minutes later when she capitalized off a free kick from Alborghetti right outside the box.
• Svaerke scored her second goal of the year in the 71
st minute when she beat the keeper to her right on a shot from outside the box.
• McGettigan put the tigers on the board in the 81
st minute when she capitalized on a ball that was sitting right in front of the Warhawk net. Â Â
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• AUM finished the match with 10 shots, and 6 were put on target. West Alabama finished the game with 18 shots with 10 on frame.
• West Alabama led AUM in corner kicks 3-1. Â
• The Tigers and Warhawks both recorded nine saves in the contest.

•Junior keeper Felecia Wester recorded eight saves in the 3-1 victory over West Alabama.
