Quoting the Coach
"We are not playing good team basketball at either side of the floor," head coach Dan Davis said. "We have to find our focus and get back to who we are as a team. These past two games we have been making too many mistakes, we don't look like the same team that we were before the winter break. The Gulf South Conference is a competitive league, you have to be ready to play everyday. We had some individuals play well tonight, but we needed a complete team effort and fell short of that. We have a huge challenge ahead of us on Thursday with Union, we need to play better if we want to have any chance against them."
