MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery women's basketball team returns to the friendly confines of the AUM Gymnasium on Thursday, Jan. 25, when the University of Montevallo comes to town for a Gulf South Conference contest at 6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear black to the AUM Gymnasium, as the contest is the Warhawks' Blackout Game.

About the Warhawks
AUM (7-11, 3-8 GSC) returns to the AUM Gymnasium after a 72-51 setback at West Florida on Sunday, Jan. 21. The Warhawks average 50.4 points, 34.4 rebounds, 10.9 assists, 8.8 steals and 3.6 blocks.
 
Junior guard/forward Evelina Avleeva leads the Warhawks in points and rebounds with marks of 11.2 and 6.2, respectively, while tying for the second-highest steals per game rate in the Gulf South Conference at 2.6. Redshirt-senior guard Kyla Rooks dishes out a team-best 2.6 assists while redshirt-sophomore center Bailee Wolfe blocks a team-best 1.4 shots per contest, the fifth-best average in the league.
 
In a pair of contests against the Falcons last season, which the two sides split, senior guard Nadia Stewart averaged 6.0 assists.

Montevallo (2-17, 0-11 GSC) comes into the matchup on a 14-game skid, most recently falling to Union 86-56 on Saturday, Jan. 20. The Falcons average 61.7 points, 35.1 rebounds, 9.8 assists, 9.1 steals and 0.9 blocks.
 
Jomekia Morine paces the Montevallo offense with a team-best 10.3 points while Nautika Philpot averages 2.1 assists and 1.8 steals, both team-highs. Kiya Sain pulls down a team-leading 5.1 rebounds.
