MONTEVALLO, Ala. –The Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 Gulf South Conference decision to the Falcons of the University of Montevallo on Sunday, Oct. 14, despite outshooting the Falcons 16-12 in total shots, and 8-4 in shots on goal in the match.
With the loss, AUM's record drops to 2-9 overall, and 2-7 against GSC opponents

Mayson Jaindl tallied AUM's only score of the game, the freshman forward's fourth of the season. Jaindl also accounted for two shots on goal.
- Julia Simoes took a team-high four shots, with a team-best three shots on goal.

How it Happened
- The Warhawks struck first in the contest, courtesy of Jaindl's 15th-minute goal.
- The Falcons retaliated with the equalizer in the 23rd minute, which would take the match to halftime at 1-1.
- Montevallo would claim the first goal of the second period in the 56th minute, and add the game's final tally in the 72nd minute.
