QUOTING THE COACH
"The women ran really well and that's with Gladys having to drop out after getting tripped from behind and falling down," said head coach Ryan Thompson. "We finished higher than I expected, especially when you take away Florida State (first) and Emory (fifth) and we finish fourth among NCAA Division II schools, edging out Augusta who ranked 10th in their region."

"The women made a huge stride towards the conference meet without being at full strength," added Thompson. "They had the better race between the two teams and I'm really excited to see what both can do in two weeks."

UP NEXT
The Warhawks will next be in action on Saturday, Nov. 3, when they take part in the 2018 Gulf South Conference Championship hosted by Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss.
