VALDOSTA, Ga. – The Auburn Montgomery volleyball team will hit the road this Tuesday evening to take on Valdosta State in a Gulf South Conference match set to begin at 6 p.m. on the campus of the Blazers. The contest will be a rematch from earlier this season, with VSU earning a 3-1 victory on Sept. 21 at the AUM Gymnasium.

About the Warhawks
AUM is 9-17 overall and 0-11 in GSC play this season, having lost ten-straight matches dating back to a 3-0 win at Albany State on Sept. 25. During the skid, the Warhawks have won a total of five sets.

Brianna Garvin leads the team in kills, tallying 182 on the season. A total of five Warhawks has now eclipsed the century mark in kills this season, with
Jaylyn Felder (106) and
Carly Smart (103) reaching the milestone this past Saturday.
The Warhawks are coming off of three consecutive losses at the GSC/SSC South Region Crossover hosted by Rollins College. AUM dropped 3-0 decision to Rollins and Florida Tech before falling 3-1 to regional rival Spring Hill College to close out the tournament.
About the Blazers
The Blazers are 12-14 overall and are 7-4 in GSC play. VSU currently sits tied for fifth with Alabama Huntsville in the league standings. The Blazers have five conference matches remaining heading into the match Tuesday. VSU also has the tiebreaker over UAH due to the head-to-head win earlier in the season in the chance the two teams are tied with the same conference record at the end of the regular season.
Individually, Chloe' Chubilleau leads the team with 247 kills in 737 swings, while freshman Jessie Mooney is second with 198 kills and Widera is third with 174. Senior Lindsey Robinson leads the team in hitting at .267 and has 163 kills for the season. Reyes-Perez leads the team with 926 assists and is second on the team in aces with 33. Chubilleau leads the team with 38 aces.
Defensively, freshman Aurora Nero leads the team with 326 digs, while Chubilleau is second with 223 and Powell is third with 218. Widera leads the team with 92 total blocks, with 28 solo rejections.
Up Next
The Warhawks will be at home for their next two matches, hosting league foes Mississippi College on Friday and then West Alabama on Saturday. Friday's match is a "Pink Out" contest, with fans encouraged to wear pink to help raise breast cancer awareness. The match on Friday will begin at 6 p.m. while Saturday's will start at 1 p.m.
