MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery volleyball team will play Gulf South Conference foes Mississippi College and West Alabama this weekend, as the Warhawks will host a "Pink Out" match at the AUM Gymnasium when they play the Choctaws on Friday before hosting senior day on Saturday against the Tigers.

About the Warhawks
AUM is 9-18 overall and 0-12 in GSC play this season, having lost 11 straight matches dating back to a 3-0 win at Albany State on Sept. 25. During the skid, the Warhawks have won a total of six sets.
Senior middle blocker
Brianna Garvin leads the team in kills, tallying 194 on the season. A total of five Warhawks has now eclipsed the century mark in kills this season, with
Jaylyn Felder (106) and
Carly Smart (103) reaching the milestone this past Saturday.
The Warhawks are coming off of a 3-1 setback to Valdosta State on Tuesday evening. Garvin led the Warhawks in kills with 12 while tying a career high for blocks with eight (four solo). She also hit for a .500 attack percentage against the Blazers.
AUM fell to MC 3-0 on Sept. 15 and is 0-2 lifetime against the Choctaws. The Warhawks also fell to UWA 3-0 on Sept. 14 and are 0-2 against the Tigers in program history.

About the Choctaws
MC is 7-21 on the season overall and 1-11 in league play. The Choctaws are currently on a 14 match losing skid with their last victory coming against Mississippi Valley State on Sept. 18.
Freshman Lexie Laurendine ranks seventh in NCAA Division II Volleyball in triple-doubles this season. Laurendine registered her third triple-double on Oct. 20 against Spring Hill College with 10 kills, 21 assists and 10 digs.
With nine total blocks at the NCAA South Region Crossover, sophomore Autumn Frost moved into the top 10 in program history in block assists with 97. Redshirt junior Shelby Grace Mays placed her name among the top 10 in career kills in Mississippi College history. Mays ranks eighth in program history with 535 and is 33 from catching Ashton King in seventh.
About the Tigers
UWA is 18-7 this year and 10-2 in league play. The Tigers are 3-2 in their last five matches and are coming off of a 3-0 setback to Barry University on Saturday. UWA will play West Florida on Friday evening before taking on the Warhawks on Saturday.
Five Tigers have reached triple digits in kills with Madison Cooler leading the way with 309, which ranks third in the GSC in that category. Setter Kassie Till leads the league assists with 966, averaging 10.50 per set.
Jessica Akiona leads the Tigers in digs with 301 with teammate Alex Fuilling right on her heels with 289.

The Warhawks will play their final road match of the 2018 on Tuesday evening when they travel to Carrollton, Ga., to face off against West Georgia in a match set to begin at 6 p.m. on the campus of the Wolves.
