Women’s Soccer Hosts Talladega for Senior Day on Wednesday

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team will wrap up their 2018 home slate on Wednesday, Oct. 31 when they welcome Talladega College to the AUM Soccer Complex for Senior Day.

About the Warhawks
AUM (3-12, 3-10 GSC) closed the book on their 2018 Gulf South Conference slate this past weekend, with a 5-0 win at Union on Oct. 25, and a 6-0 loss at Christian Brothers on Oct. 27.
 
The Warhawks played their most offensively-productive match of the season in their 5-0 win at Union last week, with five different goals coming from five different players. Ruby Mendez led the way, tallying a goal and an assist, while Agnes Edlund, Allison Singleterry, Melissa Fernandez and Mayson Jaindl all also scored a goal in the win.
 
AUM is currently on a two-goal per match pace, having netted 30 through 15 matches this season. The Warhawks have taken 219 shots on the season, for a mark of 14.6 per game. 
 
Mendez's 15 goals and 35 points both lead the Warhawks, while finishing her second among individual performers in the Gulf South Conference in 2018. The junior striker has logged a goal in all but five matches for AUM, while notching four multiple-goal games in 2018.
 
In goal for AUM, Dejon Fletcher (3-7-0) leads AUM with 977 minutes and 60 saves. Felicia Wester has posted over 400 minutes in goal, while recording 19 saves in seven games played on the year.
 
Prior to kickoff, seniors Fabiana Alborghetti, Agnes Edlund, Rachel Hartley, Kailey Ingram, Stella Mazzillo and Felicia Wester will be recognized as part of "Senior Day" festivities.
 
About the Tornadoes
Talladega (2-10-0) heads into their matchup with AUM having won two of their last three contests, including a pair of wins over Oakwood University on Sept. 30 and Oct. 7. 
 
Camila Parada leads the Tornado attack, with eight goals scored and two assists distributed. Ellen Cordeiro also paces Talladega's offense with two assists on the year.
 
In goal, Tiffany Hulsey has posted a team-high 58 saves on the season, while Arensia Glenn has notched 39.
