MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery women's soccert eam will take to the road this weekend for a pair of Gulf South Conference matches, beginning with a 5:00 p.m. matchup at West Alabama on Friday, Oct. 5, and a 1:00 p.m. contest at Alabama Huntsville on Sunday, Oct. 7.

About the Warhawks
AUM (2-6, 2-4 GSC) heads into this weekend's action as winners of two of their last three GSC matches, including a 3-1 home victory over Spring Hill on Sunday, Sept. 30 in their most recent contest.
Junior forward
Ruby Mendez netted a career-high three goals in the Warhawk's GSC victory over the Badgers, marking for the second time in her collegiate career that she has recorded a hat trick.
The Warhawks have accounted for 18 goals in eight games, for an average of 2.25 per match that ranks among the top five teams in the GSC. Mendez's 22 points ranks for second in the conference, while her 10 goals lead all individuals in the GSC.
Freshman forward
Mayson Jaindl's three goals and
Allison Singleterry's two goals marks for other Warhawks with multiple goals scored on the season.
Melissa Fernandez paces the AUM attack with three assists, while
Stella Mazzillo and Mendez both have notched two assists on the year.
In goal, freshman
Dejon Fletcher (2-3) has posted 35 saves and recorded one shutout on the 2018 season.
The Warhawks will look to make it two consecutive victories over both West Alabama and UAH, as they were able to defeat both of them by a score of 3-1 in 2017.
About the Tigers
West Alabama (6-3-1, 4-2-0 GSC) comes into their meeting with AUM having won their last two GSC matches, including a 3-2 road win over Valdosta State in their most recent work on Sept. 30.
The Tigers currently rank fourth in the GSC in scoring average, with a mark of 2.4 goals scored per match. Temia Pride's nine goals scored on the season ranks for second in the conference, while Ellie McKenzie paces the conference with six assists.
Jenni Aarniva has seen the majority of minutes in goal for the Tigers, with a 1.57 goals against average and two shutouts on the season.
About the Chargers
Alabama Huntsville (2-8-1, 1-5-0 GSC) fell 4-0 to West Georgia their last time out on Sunday, Sept. 30.
The Chargers are currently averaging 1.64 goals, while allowing opponents to score 2.27 goals per match. Melanie Brannon leads the Chargers with 12 points and six goals, while Annie Burd, Hannah Oglesby and Alison Smith all lead the UAH offense with two assists.
In goal, Megan Buford brings a 2.07 goals against average into the weekend for UAH, with a GSC-best 62 saves on the season.
Prior to their matchup with AUM, the Chargers will hot Montevallo on Friday, Oct. 5 in GSC action.
