LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 Gulf South Conference contest to the Tigers of West Alabama on Friday, Oct. 5.
With the loss, AUM's record sits at 2-7 overall, and 2-5 in GSC action.

Ruby Mendez took a team-best six shots on the evening, to go with a team-high four shots on goal.
Fabiana Alborghetti also notched a team-high four shots on goal in the contest, in addition to taking five shots.

Mayson Jaindl accounted for two shots on goal on the night, while
Alison Brewer,
Tonie Sledz, and
Agnes Edlund all also tallied a shot on goal.
- In goal,
Felicia Wester (0-5) matched a season high with 10 saves in the match.
How it Happened
- West Alabama got on the board first in the 20th minute of the match, on a lob shot from just outside of the box that cleared Wester.
- The Tigers would add another score in the 32nd minute, to take a 2-0 lead into the half.
- The Tigers delivered their third and final goal of the match in the 86th minute.

- The Warhawks matched their third-highest shot total of the season, with 19 in the contest.
- Of the Warhawks 19 shots taken, 11 came in period number one.
- AUM took just as many shots on goal as West Alabama in the match, notching 13 total.
