MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery women's basketball team will take to the road this weekend, with a pair of away Gulf-South-Conference contests at #1 Union on Thursday, Dec. 13 and Christian Brothers on Saturday, Dec. 15.

About the Warhawks
AUM (0-8, 0-2 GSC) heads into their upcoming slate of games having dropped a tightly-contested 63-59 contest at Southern Wesleyan University on Saturday, Dec. 8 in their most recent work. Evelina Avleeva notched her fifth career double-double in the setback, with a team-high 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Jordan Brewster finished one off of Avleeva's points total with a career-high 22 points. 
 
Brewster paces the AUM offense with a 14.5 points per game average, having scored double figures in seven of eight games for the Warhawks this season. The freshman guard leads the GSC with 31 three-pointers made, to go along with a conference-best 3.8 treys per game.
 
Avleeva leads the Warhawks in the rebounding department, with an 8.1 rebounds per game mark that ranks among the top ten performers in the conference. Victoria Morales and Aaliyah Milord both come in averaging 6.8 rebounds per game, with Milord averaging a team-high 10 boards per game in conference action. 
 
AUM's 42 total blocks, for a pace of 5.3 per game, leads all Gulf-South-Conference teams, with Morales and Bailee Wolfe's 1.1 blocks per game ranking tied for second in the GSC among individuals.
 
The Warhawks bring an all-time record of 3-10 against Union, and a mark of 1-1 against Christian Brothers into their matchups. AUM knocked off knocked off Christian Brothers 56-47 at home in their most recent contest last season, while falling to the then #24-ranked Bulldogs 44-64 during the 2017-18 campaign. 
 
About the Bulldogs
Union (9-0, 2-0 GSC) checked in at the number-one spot in the most recent WBCA Coaches and D2SIDA National Rankings. The Bulldogs knocked off Lane College 68-52 in their most recent action on December 8.
 
The Bulldogs currently pace the GSC with an 80 points-per-game scoring average, while also shooting a conference-high 48 percent from the floor on the year. Union also sports a GSC-best 24.6 scoring margin, allowing opponents to score just 55.4 points per game.
 
Three Union players are currently averaging in double figures, with Morgan Martin leading the Bulldogs with 17.6 points per game, a mark that ranks second in the GSC. Martin is also averaging a team-high 8.2 rebounds per game.
 
About the Lady Bucs
Christian Brothers (3-4, 0-2 GSC) heads into their matchup with the Warhawks on Saturday having dropped four of their last five contests. The Lady Bucs fell 97-84 at Maryville University in their most recent game on Dec. 8. 
 
The Lady Bucs are currently averaging 67.4 points per game, while allowing opponents to score 72.9. CBU is currently shooting 36 percent from the field on the season, with their opponents shooting just under 44 percent on field goals. 
 
The Lady Bucs feature two of the top ten scorers in the GSC, with Kenzie Jones and Kelsey Adkins both averaging in double figures for the year. Jones leads the team with 15.6 points and 3.4 assists per game, while Adkin's 14.7 points per contest sits second on the squad.
