YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Auburn Montgomery men's soccer team dropped a 5-0 contest to the number-four ranked Mountain Lions of Young Harris College on Tuesday, Sept. 18th.
 
With the loss, AUM's record now sits at 1-5 for the season. 
 
Standout Performers
- Goalkeeper Alexander Kraus notched a career-high 16 saves for AUM in the setback.
- Tate Dean took a team-high two shots, while Cade Bryant was responsible for a shot on goal in the contest.
 
How it Happened
- Young Harris scored their first goal of the contest with a successful header off of a corner kick in the 8th minute.
-The Mountain Lions would tack on two more goals in the 20th and 36th minutes of the first period, to take a 3-0 lead into the break. 
- The Mountain Lions added a pair of goals in the second period, with the pair coming in the 48th and 57th minutes of play. 
 
Inside the Boxscore
- The Warhawks committed 11 fouls in the contest, compared to the Mountain Lions' 14. 
- AUM was tagged for just one offside infraction, while Young Harris was whistled for seven. 
 
Up Next
- The Warhawks open up Gulf South Conference play on Friday, Sept. 21st when they take on Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. Match time against the Flames, which was originally scheduled for 6:00 p.m., is now slated for 4:00 p.m. CT.
