MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery volleyball team will host Gulf South Conference foes Valdosta State and West Georgia on Friday and Saturday, respectively, at the AUM Gymnasium as the Warhawks look to win their first conference match of the season. Saturday's match with UWG will be an ORANGE OUT, with the first 250 students in attendance receiving an orange rally towel.

About the Warhawks
AUM is currently 8-5 overall with a 0-3 mark in league play. The Warhawks do boast a perfect 3-0 record at home with victories over LeMoyne-Owen College, Limestone College and Tuskegee University at the first ever AUM Invitational on Aug. 31-Sept. 1. The Orange & Black are coming off of a three-match losing skid to start GSC play, falling to the University of Montevallo, West Alabama and Mississippi College this past week.
Junior outside hitter
Sommer Rhea leads the Warhawks in kills with 111 while senior middle blocker
Brianna Garvin leads the team in attack percentage with a mark of .365. Garvin is second on the team in kills with 100 while
Jaylyn Felder and
Nyah Whittlesey are tied for third with 59 apiece. In addition, Garvin leads the team in blocks with 27 (14 solo).
Senior setter
Carly Smart leads the team in assists with 260, and is fifth on the team in kills with 51. Smart also leads the team in service aces with 17. Freshman defensive specialist
Emily Ward has started every match at libero, and leads the team in digs with 122. However, Rhea is right on her heels for the team lead with 113 this season.
About the Blazers
VSU is currently 5-10 on the season with a 1-2 mark in the GSC. The Blazers are also 1-3 in road matches and have lost two straight coming into Friday. VSU opened GSC play with a 3-0 victory over league foe Shorter but have since dropped a pair of matches to Lee University (0-3) and West Georgia (1-3).
Senior outside hitter Chloe' Chubilleau leads the team in kills with 152, having recorded double-digit kills in eight matches this season. Chubilleau also has a 20-kill match this season, tallying the mark against Spring Hill on Aug. 31. Freshman outside hitter Jessie Mooney is second on the team in kills with 119, recording double digits in six matches.
Sophomore setter Tammy Reyes Perez directs the VSU attack, having recorded 493 assists this season. Aurora Nero leads the team in digs with 202 while Kayla Widera leads the team in blocks with 48 (16 solo).
About the Wolves
UWG is 6-4 on the year with a 1-2 record in conference matches. The Wolves are 3-2 in their last five matches with a victory over VSU in their last outing. As a team UWG has tallied 408 kills while hitting for a .214 attack percentage.
McKenna Wharton leads the team in kills with 109 with teammate Emilee Harris coming in second at 70. Wharton also leads the team in service aces with 19 while Harris is third on the team with 14. Setter Madi Fleming leads the team in assists with 268 and is second on the team in aces with 17.
Wharton leads the team in digs as well, posting 82 on the year. Niah Bruce leads the team in blocks with 25 (11 solo).
The Wolves will play West Florida on Friday evening before taking on the Warhawks on Saturday afternoon.

The Warhawks will hit the road once again in their next match, taking on non-conference foe Albany State on Tuesday, Sept. 25 on the campus of the Golden Rams. The match is set to begin at 5 p.m.
