CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team dropped a 7-2 Gulf South Conference decision to the Flames of Lee University on Friday, Sept. 21st.
With the loss, the Warhawk's record falls to 0-5 overall, and 0-3 against GSC opponents.

Mayson Jaindl notched both of the Warhawk's goals, netting her second and third goals of the season in the match.

Peyton Poe tallied the lone assist for AUM in the match, while also accounting for a shot on goal.

Ruby Mendez took two shots on the evening, in addition to registering a shot on goal.
How it Happened
- The Flames notched the first two goals of the match, to jump out to a 2-0 lead over the Warhawks.
- AUM would respond with a pair of goals from Jaindl in the 31st and 32nd minutes, equalizing the match at two-all.
- The Flames would tack on a goal before the half, making the score 3-2 at the break.
- Lee would go on to pull away in the second half, netting four goals to give way to the final score of 7-2.
