MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery women's soccer team dropped a 6-2 Gulf South Conferece decision to the #4 ranked Argonauts of West Florida on Friday evening at the AUM Soccer Complex.
With the loss, AUM's record drops to 1-6 overall, and 1-4 in GSC play.

Ruby Mendez netted her team-leading seventh goal of the season in the match. The Junior forward also accounted for a team-high four shots on the night, with all four coming on frame.

Fabiana Alborghetti accounted for AUM's other goal on the night.

Allison McCrimon logged the lone assist for AUM, helping setup Mendez's goal.

Mayson Jaindl took two shots on the evening, with both shots coming on goal.

How it Happened
- The score stood 0-0 through the first 26 minutes of play, before the Argonauts rattled off four goals to take a 4-0 lead into the break.
- The Warhawks cracked the scoreboard in the 58th minute, when McCrimon's service was able to find the foot of Mendez for the score.
- The Argos would go on to score a pair of goals, before Alborghetti's free kick goal from outside the box would give way to the 6-2 final.
