MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's basketball team will host Gulf South Conference foe Delta State University on Thursday evening at the AUM Gymnasium, with fans being encouraged to wear white for the contest to White-Out the stands to show their support for the Warhawks. There will also be a special birthday celebration at halftime for AUM's mascot Curtiss the Warhawk.

About the Warhawks
The Warhawks are 6-13 on the season with a 2-9 mark in league play. AUM is coming off of an 88-78 setback on the road to West Florida on Monday evening, and is 1-4 over its last five games.
Junior guard
Carlos Bell leads the team and is sixth in the GSC in scoring averaging, tallying 15.4 points per game. Fellow guard
Darrion Taylor is second on the team in scoring at 12.8 ppg and junior center
Aaron Reddick is third at 10.5 ppg.
Reddick is tied for the league lead in blocks with 33 on the season, while also leading the team in rebounds with 149. Bell is second on the team in boards with 138 while Taylor leads the team in assists with 55.
Thursday's game versus the Statesmen is the seventh all-time between Delta State and AUM. The series dates back to Nov. 25, 1994, a game the Statesmen won at AUM, 71-70. Delta State leads the all-time series 5-1, including a pair of DSU wins in both meetings last season.
About the Statesmen
DSU is 13-6 on the season with a 9-3 mark in the GSC. The Statesmen are currently tied for first place in the conference with West Alabama, but only three games separate first place from ninth place. Delta is 3-2 over their last five games and are coming off of a 70-56 victory at home over Lee University.
Senior guard Brett Warner leads the team and is seventh in the conference in scoring averaging 15.3 points per game. Teammates Justin Slocum and Rasheide Bell are also averaging double figures in points, posting 11.8 and 11.7 points per game, respectively.
Slocum also leads the team and is third in the league in rebounds with an 8.0 rpg average. He's tallied 152 this season, including 85 defensive boards. Senior guard Armon Benford leads the team in assists with 73. He's seventh in the GSC in assists and eighth in assist/turnover ratio.
DSU will play at the University of Alabama at Huntsville on Saturday in their next contest.
