MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's basketball team will host Gulf South Conference foe Union University on Thursday evening at the AUM Gymnasium, as the Warhawks will look to avenge a 95-74 setback to the Bulldogs earlier this season before hitting the road this Saturday to take on Shorter University on the campus of the Hawks.

About the Warhawks
The Warhawks are 5-9 on the year and 1-5 in the GSC. They are also 2-4 at home and 1-4 over their last five games. AUM is coming off of a 69-58 setback to West Alabama on Monday evening, falling to the Tigers at home.
Junior guard
Carlos Bell leads the team and is sixth in the league in scoring, averaging 16.0 points per game.
Darrion Taylor is second on the team in points with a 12.9 points per game average while teammate
Aaron Reddick is now averaging 10.1.
Reddick leads the team and is second in the GSC in rebounds with 118, averaging 8.4 rpg. He also leads the conference in blocks with 24. Taylor leads the team in assists with 48 while Bell is second on the team with 25.
Bell led all Warhawks in scoring the first time against Union, tallying 23 points in the setback. AUM is 1-4 lifetime against the Bulldogs, with their only victory coming during the 1997-98 season – a 90-73 win for the then-Senators.
Saturday will be the first of two games this season between AUM and Shorter, with the second coming on Feb. 23. The Warhawks are 22-4 lifetime against the Hawks, winning last season's matchup 66-61 in Rome.
About the Bulldogs
Union is 8-6 on the season with a 3-3 mark in league play. The Bulldogs are also 1-4 in road games and 2-3 over their last five games. They are also coming off of a 99-75 victory over conference foe Alabama Huntsville this past Saturday, a game in which the Bulldogs connected on 18 3-pointers against the Chargers.
Union is currently second in the GSC in offense, averaging 80.5 points per contest. Three players are averaging double figures for the Bulldogs, who are shooting 48 percent as a team.
Junior swing player Terrandus Smith leads the team and is seventh in the conference in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game, while freshman guard Tylandrius Parks is fourth in the GSC in rebounds, averaging 7.4 per contest.
The last time the two teams squared off six Bulldogs scored in double figures, with LiDonta Hicks-Gentry scoring a team-high 23 points. Parks finished one rebound shy of a double-double, tallying 11 points and nine rebounds.
About the Hawks
Shorter is 2-11 on the season and 0-5 in league play. The Hawks are 2-6 at home this season and are currently on an eight-game losing skid.
The Hawks will play at UAH on Thursday before hosting the Warhawks on Saturday.
Sophomore guard Joe Russell leads the team in scoring with 160 points, averaging 12.3 ppg. Fellow sophomore Jacob Newman is second on the team in points with 105 and is scoring 9.5 ppg. Freshman forward Frenki Lilaj leads the team in rebounds with 56 while sophomore guard Drew Thomas leads the team in assists with 27.
