The Auburn Montgomery volleyball team will hit the road this weekend to take on Gulf South Conference foes Valdosta State and West Georgia in a two-match road swing, taking on the Blazers on Friday and the Wolves on Saturday in league play.

About the Warhawks
AUM is now 8-4 overall and 2-1 in league action. After starting the season 1-3 the Warhawks have won seven of their last eight including its first victory in program history over West Alabama last Friday. The Orange & Black are 4-1 at home, 0-1 on the road and 4-2 at neutral sites.

Sophomore setter
Isadora Nicolai leads the GSC in assists per set with an average of 9.74. She's directed the team to a .204 hitting percentage which ranks fourth in the conference. She also leads the team and is seventh in the league in service aces with 18. Nicolai set the new school record for assists in a contest with 58 against UWA on Sep. 27.

Sommer Rhea leads the team in kills with 129 and points with 141.5. Rhea is also second on the team in digs with 153. Junior libero
Carla Butler leads the team and is eighth in the league in digs with 192. Butler also set the new school record for digs in a match with 29 against UWA.

Sophomore outside hitter
Dariona Dash set the new program record for kills in a match against UWA on Sep. 27, tallying 23 kills with a .422 hitting percentage against the Tigers. Dash passed the old mark set by teammate
Skylar Coppinger, who notched 21 kills against Huntingdon College in 2017.

Senior middle blocker
Ariadne Borges leads the team and is eighth in the league in total blocks with 39.

AUM is 0-4 against VSU in program history while holding a 2-1 record against UWG. The Warhawks' first GSC victory in program history came against the Wolves on Sep. 23, 2017, a 3-2 win at home during their inaugural season.

About The Blazers
VSU is 10-6 on the season with a 2-1 mark in GSC play. The Blazers have won seven of their last nine matches heading into the match this Friday, with senior Kayla Widera leading the league in blocks with 75. The Blazers split their last two matches, with a win over Lee and a loss to West Georgia.

The Blazers lead the GSC in blocks with 135.5 and digs with 940 this year. Three players have reached triple digit kills this year for VSU, with Dariah Powell leading the way with 129. Right on her heels are Jessie Mooney with 127 and Grace Daugherty with 120. Tammy Reyes Perez leads the team in assists with 442.Â

About the Wolves
UWG is 8-6 on the year with a 3-0 mark in league action. The Wolves have won four matches in a row including victories over GSC foes Lee, Shorter and VSU as well as a 3-2 victory over non-conference foe Augusta in their last match. UWG will face West Florida on Friday evening before taking on the Warhawks on Saturday.

Three players have reached triple digits in kills with Tierra White leading the way with 161. White also leads the team in blocks with 54. Madi Fleming leads the team in assists with 492 and Emilee Harris leads the team in digs with 138.Â
