MONTGOMERY, Ala. --- The Auburn Montgomery men's basketball team will take to the road this week, with a Nov. 13 tilt at Miles College, and games in the Daytona Mitsubishi/Kia Shootout in Daytona Beach, Fla. against Puerto Rico-Mayaguez on Friday, Nov. 15 and host school Embry-Riddle on Saturday, Nov. 16.

ABOUT THE WARHAWKS
AUM (1-1) earned their first victory as full-fledged NCAA Division II members with an 88-84 win against Florida Tech at home on Saturday, Nov. 9. Four different Warhawks scored in double figures, led by
Carlos Bell's 21 points and an 11-point 10-rebound performance from
Aaron Reddick.
Through two games, the Warhawks rank second in the Gulf South Conference with a 79.5 points-per-game scoring average. Two Warhawks find themselves among the top 15 in scoring average, with
Stanley Davis (17 ppg) ranking 10th in the conference, and Bell (15.5 ppg) ranking 15th.
The Orange and Black have knocked down a GSC-best 20 three-pointers so far on the year, while holding opponents to shoot just 25 percent from beyond the arc. Davis leads all conference players with nine treys made, and a 60-percent three-point field goal percentage.
AUM ranks second in assists in the Gulf South, with 34 total and a pace of 17 assists per game.
Darrion Taylor's 14 assists and seven assists-per-game clip ranks for first in the conference, while ranking second in the GSC with a 3.5 assist-to-turnover ratio and third on the Warhawks with a 14 points-per-game scoring average. The senior guard needs just 39 more points to become the 19th member of the 1,000-point club for AUM Men's Basketball.
In the rebounding department, Reddick is currently one of five GSC players averaging double-digit rebounds a game. The senior forward's 10 rebounds per contest ranks fourth in the conference, while leading a squad that ranks among the top five GSC schools with 39 rebounds-per-game pace.
Friday's matchup with Puerto Rico-Mayaguez will be there first meeting with them, while the Warhawks hold a 1-0 series advantage over Embry-Riddle. AUM bested the Eagles 101-92 in their lone meeting on Nov. 24 of the 2017-18 season.
