About the Warhawks
After having their six-match win streak snapped in their previous game against Union, the Warhawks still find themselves sitting in sixth place in the Gulf South Conference, falling a game and a half behind the Lady Bulldogs for fifth place.

Setter Isadora Nicolai recorded 114 assists over three games played last week, further cementing herself as one of the conference's best setters. The junior currently ranks second in the Gulf South in assists in 2019 with 913.

Both Sommer Rhea and Nyah Whittlesey are coming off double-doubles in their efforts against Union University on Saturday. Rhea was able to net 16 kills and 23 digs, while Whittlesey recorded 16 kills and 15 digs.

AUM's meeting with the Lady Blazers will be the penultimate home match of the season, with November 12th's game with the West Georiga Wolves signaling the end of the home schedule for the Orange & Black.

About The Lady Blazers
Valdosta State will enter battle with the Warhawks losers of their last eight games. The Lady Blazers have recorded just three road victories all season, with their last road win coming on October 11, a 3-1 win over Mississippi College.

The Warhawks defeated Valdosta State in a five-set thriller back on October 4 in Valdosta. Rhea led the way for the Orange & Black in the match, recording 26 kills and 18 digs in the winning effort.

About The Tigers
West Alabama, like Valdosta State and Mississippi College, is fighting for their playoff lives. The Tigers are tied with VSU and MC for the final three playoff spots in the Gulf South Conference. West Alabama has won their last two meetings, besting Shorter and Lee at home.

AUM was able to take down West Alabama in late September this year, beating the Tigers in five sets at the AUM Gymnasium. Nicolai set a school record in assists in the contest, with 58 in the match.

About The Lady Choctaws
Mississippi College has dropped eight of their last nine contests and will have played a match with West Alabama before hosting the Warhawks on Friday afternoon. The Lady Choctaws have won four of their eight games at home.

Mississippi College dropped their first meeting with AUM earlier this season in Montgomery, losing to the Orange & Black 3-1.
