MONTGOMERY, Ala. – After concluding its 2019 exhibition schedule on Wednesday, the Auburn University at Montgomery women's basketball team will travel to Georgia to take on Fort Valley State on Saturday.

About the Warhawks
The Orange & Black are coming off an exhibition loss to NCAA DI foe Troy on Wednesday on their final exhibition game of the year.
Catlin Carter led the Warhawks in points scored for the second-consecutive game, netting nine points off the bench.
Point guard
Alexia Wallace has started five of the first eight games the Warhawks have played in 2019 and has earned 5.8 points per game and has grabbed 25 rebounds and 21 assists. The Georgia native has also registered just over 20 minutes per game at 21.3.
Both
Jordan Brewster and
Sarah Creanor have yet to miss a free throw in 2019. Brewster has knocked down both free throws she has taken this season, while Creanor is also a perfect 2-2. As a team, AUM is shooting 71% from the charity stripe.
The Orange & Black have already matched their win total from the 2018-19 season, and after their game against the Wildcats, AUM will play four straight games against Gulf South Conference opponents.
About the Wildcats
Fort Valley State sports a winning record to start their new season. The Wildcats are coming off back-to-back victories against SIAC opponents Lane College and Central State University. FVSU has already matched up against GSC opponents four times this season, netting a 2-2 record.
Torri Myers currently leads the Wildcats in scoring this season, netting 11.6 points per game. The sophomore has also grabbed 5.9 rebounds per game, which places her third on the team.
