MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery men's basketball team will host Gulf South Conference foe the University of West Georgia on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. before hitting the road to take on Lee University in another conference game on Saturday at 6 p.m. to close out the week.

About the Warhawks
The Warhawks are 7-16 on the season with a 3-12 mark in league play. AUM went 1-1 last week defeating Mississippi College 87-85 on a last second layup by
Devorious Brown before falling to Delta State 77-67 on the campus of the Statesmen.
Three Warhawks are averaging double figures in scoring, with junior guard
Carlos Bell leading the way with a 15.3 points per game average which is good enough for sixth in the GSC. Bell also leads the team and is seventh in the league in steals with 27.
Junior guard leads the team in assists (67) and is second on the team in scoring, averaging 13.2 ppg. The Lawrenceville, Ga., native also leads the team and is tied for fifth in the conference in 3-pointers with 59 on the season.
Junior center
Aaron Reddick tops the league in blocked shots with 38 this year and is third on the team in scoring at 10.4 ppg. He also leads the team and is fourth in the GSC in rebounds with 182 this season.
AUM is 0-2 against both Lee and UWG since joining the NCAA Division II ranks, and are 7-10 overall against the Flames and are 1-2 against the Wolves.
About the Wolves
UWG is 13-10 overall and 8-7 in the GSC. The Wolves are coming off of an 87-79 victory over West Florida on Saturday, earning a home victory over the visiting Argonauts to get over .500 for the season in league play.
Marquill Smith is averaging 26.5 points per game this season to lead the entire conference, with no other starter averaging more than 10.0 points a contest. Smith also leads the team and the league in rebounds with 8.7 rpg.
About the Flames
Lee is 12-11 on the season with a 9-6 mark in the league. The Flames are coming off of a 79-70 setback to West Alabama on Saturday.
Colton Blevins leads the team and is seventh in the league in scoring with a 14.4 ppg average. Two other Flames are averaging double figures with Ryan Montgomery at 13.8 ppg and Michael McGuirk at 11.0.
Montgomery also leads the team in rebounds with 141 while teammate Kentrell Evans leads the team in assists with 78.
