Women’s Basketball Hosts West Georgia Thursday, Travels to Lee Saturday

MONTGOMERY, Ala. ---The Auburn Montgomery women's basketball team will host the University of West Georgia on Thursday Feb. 14 and travel to Cleveland, Tenn. to take on Lee University on Saturday, Sept. 16.

About the Warhawks 
AUM (3-20, 2-13 GSC) went 1-1 over a two-game road trip last weekend, highlighted by a 59-57 win at Mississippi College on Thursday, Feb. 7. Jordan Brewster (18), Makaylla Bullard (13) and Kendra Boone (12) all tallied double-digit points in the win, while Aaliyah Milord hauled in a career-high 14 boards.
 
Brewster continues to lead the charge on offense for AUM, with a 15.1 points-per-game average that also unofficially ranks among the top 10 performers in the conference and leads all GSC freshmen. 
 
The freshman guard also unofficially paces the conference in three's made (90), treys per game (3.9), overall minutes (847) and minutes per game (36.8). Brewster needs just just 10 more threes to become the third players in AUM women's basketball history to knock down 100 three-pointers in a season, and needs 19 more to set the single-season record. 
 
Milord's 7.8 rebounds-per-game leads AUM, while Evelina Avleeva (7.5) and Victoria Morales (7.3) sit right off of Milord's pace. In conference play, Milord is averaging a team-high 8.8 boards per game, with four GSC games with 10 or more rebounds under her belt. 
 
Morales unofficially sits second in the conference with 31 overall blocks, and a 1.3-blocks-per-game average. As a unit, the Warhawks lead all GSC teams with 90 blocked shots, and a 3.9 blocks-per-game average.
 
About the Wolves
West Georgia (12-9, 7-8) heads into their matchup with AUM having lost two of their last three, including a 76-69 setback to West Florida on Saturday, Feb.9 their last time out.
 
Aysha Harris's 12.3 points per game leads a Lady Wolves squad averaging 60.1 points per contest, while West Georgia is holding their opponents to just 58.8 points a game.
 
A'Kia Harris leads West Georgia in the rebounding department, with a 7.4 boards-per-game average. The Lady Wolves are averaging 36 rebounds per game on the season, while allowing their opponents to grab 39.2 boards a game.
 
About the Lady Flames
Lee University (18-5, 12-3 GSC) came in at number four in the most recent South Regional Rankings compiled by D2SIDA. The Lady Flames have won two of their last three games, including a 74-38 win over West Alabama on Sat. Feb. 9 their last time out. 
 
Two Lady Flames are currently averaging in double figures in scoring, with Abby Bertram's 14 points per game serving as the team high. Haley Schubert ranks second on the team, with an 11 point-per-game clip. 
 
Lee University current leads the GSC, with an opponent's scoring average of 51.8 points per game. The Lady Flames have held their opponents below 50 points eight times this season. 
 
Prior to the matchup with AUM on Saturday, Feb. 16, the Lady Flames will travel to Alabama Huntsville on Thursday, Feb. 14 for a GSC road matchup.
