MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn Montgomery softball team will host is annual AUM Invitational this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, welcoming Brewton-Parker College, Georgia Southwestern, Montreat College, Spring Hill College and Talladega College to campus for the three-day event.

About the Warhawks
The Warhawks are 3-0 on the season, with victories over #3 North Georgia, Embry-Riddle and the University of Mobile at the Gulf Shores Invitational this past weekend. AUM outscored opponents 24-2 over three games, shutting out the Nighthawks and the Eagles before allowing a pair of runs against the Rams in their final game of the weekend.
Junior pitcher
Chanel Newcomer picked up a win and a save over two appearances, allowing only three hits over 8.0 shutout innings with three strikeouts and three walks.
Michaelyn Foster went 1-0 over two appearances, tallying five K's over 6.0 innings and giving up two hits and two walks.
Cydney Sizemore picked up AUM's third win in a relief appearance to improve to 1-0 on the season.
Junior catcher
Abby Krueger leads the team in batting average with a mark of .667 and in on base percentage with a mark of .750. Krueger went 2-for-3 at the plate on the weekend, with three runs scored, two runs batted in and a double after drawing four walks. She tallied two sacrifice bunts and a sac fly as well.
Sophomore
Morgan Duschell was 5-for-8 with four RBI and three runs scored accounting for six total bases. Duschell batted .625 with a slugging percentage of .750. Junior
Jaycie Walker batted .400 from her designated player position, going 4-for-10 with three RBI and two runs scored.
