SAN ANTONIO, Texas – In a match that saw three singles contests go to a third set and a doubles match go to a 13-11 tiebreaker the Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team fell to Southwest Baptist University on Monday afternoon, falling by the final of 5-2.
 
NOTES
• AUM falls to 3-3 on the season and 0-1 in neutral site contests.
• The Bearcats improve to 7-0 this year and 3-0 at neutral sites.
 
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Junior Alvaro Terron earned a 6-3, 7-5 win at the No. 1 singles position to give the Warhawks a much needed point.
• Sophomore Giovanni Bellio picked up his first win since Feb. 2 with a 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory at the No. 6 singles spot.

• No. 1 Singles: Alvaro Terron defeated Raul Caballero 6-3, 7-5
• No. 2 Singles: Eban Straker-Meads fell to Adham Gaber 6-4, 5-7, 6-7 (5-7)
• No. 3 Singles: Francisco Jimenez fell to Gyorgy Agoston 1-6, 5-7
• No. 4 Singles: Jose Garcia fell to Ferenc Agoston 6-4, 3-6, 3-6
• No. 5 Singles: Santiago Veglia fell to David Szeri 0-6, 3-6
• No. 6 Singles: Giovanni Bellio defeated Carlos Corser 2-6, 6-1, 6-3
 
• No. 1 Doubles: Terron and Straker-Meads fell to Caballero and Gaber 5-7  
• No. 2 Doubles: Garcia and Lind fell to Agoston and Agoston 4-6
• No. 3 Doubles: Jimenez and Veglia fell to Nicholas Gilmore and Max Sanoja 6-7 (11-13)
