SAN ANTONIO, Texas – In a match that saw three singles contests go to a third set and a doubles match go to a 13-11 tiebreaker the Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team fell to Southwest Baptist University on Monday afternoon, falling by the final of 5-2.
NOTES
• AUM falls to 3-3 on the season and 0-1 in neutral site contests.
• The Bearcats improve to 7-0 this year and 3-0 at neutral sites.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Junior
Alvaro Terron earned a 6-3, 7-5 win at the No. 1 singles position to give the Warhawks a much needed point.
• Sophomore
Giovanni Bellio picked up his first win since Feb. 2 with a 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory at the No. 6 singles spot.
