MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery softball team will play its final five games of 2019 this week beginning with a doubleheader on the road against Spring Hill College on Wednesday followed by a three-game Gulf South Conference series with Lee University this weekend at the AUM Softball Complex.

About the Warhawks
The Warhawks are 39-11 this season after going 4-0 this past week with doubleheader victories over Talladega College and Christian Brothers. AUM is now 17-9 in league play and 22-2 in non-conference games.
AUM leads the NCAA Division II and the Gulf South in stolen bases having recorded 168 on the season. The Warhawks are posting 3.36 steals per contest which ranks third in the nation. AUM also leads the GSC in team earned run average with a mark of 1.86.
Freshman shortstop
Olivia Aycock leads the team in batting average with a mark of .385. Aycock also leads the team in multi-hit games with 17, hits with 55 and runs scored with 53. Aycock set the single season stolen base record earlier this season and now stands at 44 for the season, a mark that leads all players in the GSC.
Sophomore utility player
Michaelyn Foster leads the team in runs batted in with 39. Foster leads the GSC in ERA with a mark of 1.40. She leads the team in wins with a record of 13-3, having recorded three saves this season.
This will be the second meeting of the season between the SHC and the Warhawks, with AUM earning a 10-0 victory on Feb. 9. The Warhawks are 12-9 lifetime against the Badgers, having won the last two meetings. AUM is 5-9 lifetime against the Flames, having won four of the last six matchups including a 2-1 GSC series victory last season in Cleveland, Tenn.
