MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team concluded their season on the road against Gulf South Conference rival the University of Montevallo on Wednesday afternoon 5-2.

No. 2 Singles: #38 Eban Straker-Meads defeated Petter Dahlin 6-2, 6-4
No. 3 Singles: Francisco Jimenez fell to Tanguay David 2-6, 1-6
No. 4 Singles: Santiago Veglia defeated Daniel Del Val 6-1, 6-0
No. 5 Singles: Jose Garcia defeated Tobias Rauch 7-5, 0-6, 10-4
No. 6 Singles: Giovanni Bellio defeated Dylan Valentine 6-3, 6-1
 
No. 1 Doubles: Terron and Garcia defeated James Bloomer and Dahlin 6-2
No. 2 Doubles: Straker-Meads and Veglia fell to David and Trompler 4-6
No. 3 Doubles: Jimenez and Marcus Lind defeated Milan Ludlage and Brecht Van Buggenhout 7-6

QUOTING THE COACH
"The men's finish a strong season with a very solid win," said AUM head coach Yair Banuelos. "Montevallo put up a great fight, but our guys responded very well. I am very happy and proud of our senior Santiago Veglia who finishes his career with a great match. Overall, we played better as the season progressed. We finish the season with a great feeling for next year when we can compete for postseason."
