About the Warhawks
The Orange & Black enter their game having won three of their last four contests, two of those wins have come against Gulf South Conference opponents. The Warhawks started this streak with a win over Montevallo on Jan. 2, then three days later defeated Lemoyne-Owen College.

With two GSC wins this season, the Warhawks sit one game back in the win column behind West Georgia for the final playoff spot in the conference. AUM has 12 conference games remaining on the schedule, including a rematch with West Georgia on February 27.

Three-point shooting continues to be an important part of the Orange & Black's play this season. The Warhawks rank third in the conference in 3-point shooting, having knocked down .330% of their shots beyond the arch.

AUM has also proven to be elite from the charity stripe in their 2019-20 campaign. Among GSC teams that have played in at least 13 games, the Warhawks lead the conference in FT%, having converted .730% of their free throws this season.

Not only is Victoria Morales shooting at a career pace, but she is also getting it done defensively. Morales is third in the GSC in blocks with 25. Overall, Morales is averaging 12.9 points per game, 9.1 rebounds per game, 2.3 blocks per game and 1.6 blocks per contest.

AUM was able to defeat Montevallo three weeks ago at Trustmark Arena in the only other meeting of 2020. Catlin Carter set a new career high in points with 26 in the meeting against the Falcons while Morales was also able to tally 18 points.

About the Falcons
After Montevallo's 69-50 loss to AUM to start the new year, the Falcons have won three consecutive games, taking down West Florida, Lane College and Christian Brothers. The Falcons still hold on to a 6-1 conference record, sitting in third place just half a game back of Lee and Union for first place.

Shyan Flack continues to pace Montevallo in scoring this season, averaging 16.9 points per game. In her previous meeting with AUM, Flack was held to a team-high eight points.
