About the Warhawks
Auburn Montgomery will enter its rematch with West Florida on the heels of a loss to Valdosta State. However, the previous meeting with the Argos was dominated by the Orange & Black for the majority of the game until West Florida had a late push in the fourth quarter.

Catlin Carter was excellent for AUM during last week's games, leading the Warhawks in scoring in both conference showdowns. Carter tallied 21 points against West Florida in the Warhawks' win and netted 16 more points against the Lady Blazers.

The Warhawks still possess a chance at a berth in the conference tournament. The Orange & Black sit at 3-8 within the GSC and trail the No. 8 seed Mississippi College who sport a 5-7 mark in the conference. AUM will need to take care of business at home in order to accomplish this feat.

AUM has nine games remaining on their 2019-20 schedule, with five of the nine coming at the AUM Gymnasium. Seven games will come against teams the Warhawks are chasing in the Gulf South Conference standings.

About the Argonauts
The Argos are coming off a 0-2 week with losses to Auburn Montgomery and West Alabama. West Florida played the Orange & Black much better than West Alabama, having lost their game to AUM by two points while falling to the Tigers 65-48.

Danielle Norquest, the team's top scorer, let the Argos in scoring against the Warhawks in their meeting last week. She was able to tally 17 points while grabbing 13 rebounds on her way to a double-double.

About the Lady Statesmen
Delta State women's basketball has been a regular in the national polls all season long. However, after back-to-back losses to Alabama Huntsville and Lee, the Lady Statesmen find themselves outside the top-25.

The Lady Statesmen sit in fourth place in the Gulf South Conference with a 7-4 conference record. Quantesha Patterson has won a conference-high three player of the week honors this season and has averaged 14.6 points and 13.2 rebounds per game.
