- Union improves to 12-3, with a 6-1 record in conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Bulldogs compiled the first four points of the game in less than 60 seconds which forced an early AUM timeout at the 9:06 mark of the first. Union was able to convert on a three-point play out of the timeout to increase the Lady Bulldog lead to 5-0. Victoria Morales was wide open down low and was able to knock home the Warhawks' first two points of the night. A Jemaiya Lee layup was able to counter a Union 3-pointer, which brought the Orange & Black to within four with seven minutes remaining. Jordan Brewster knocked down her first 3-pointer of the night and on the next possession for AUM, hit another shot to shorten Union's lead to 12-10. The epic 3-point shooting continued for the Orange & Black as Morales gave the Warhawks their first lead of the night with 3:20 remaining after draining her first triple of the night. Both teams would trade baskets, but it would be Union who took a 17-15 lead into the second quarter.
- Two 3-pointers from Union got the Lady Bulldogs off to a hot start in the second period and gave the home team a 23-17 lead. The AUM offense went silent in the moments to follow as Union went on a 10-2 run to take a 27-17 lead with six minutes remaining. Kendra Boone stifled the run for the moment with a layup underneath the basket to cut the Union lead to 34-19 but Union would keep the attack going for the rest of the half, taking a 41-21 lead into the halftime break.
- AUM scored first in the second half as a layup off the opening possession trimmed the lead down from 20. An AUM free throw and a basket from the Lady Bulldogs made the Union lead extend to 45-24 in the opening moments of the second half. The Lady Bulldogs scored the next five points of the third period and held on to a 49-24 lead into the first media timeout. Both teams went cold from the floor in the dying portion of the third quarter and resulted in a defensive stalemate with under three minutes remaining. The third quarter featured a 9-2 run for the Orange & Black, forcing a Union timeout with 100 seconds remaining to cut the Lady Bulldog lead to 51-33.
- Monika Johnson had an open look from the corner but failed to convert on her second 3-point attempt of the night. Union, then, went down the court and hit a 3-pointer of their own to take a 54-33 lead in the contest. The Lady Bulldogs would go on a 13-0 run and further extended their lead to 63-33. Union kept their foot on the throttle to finish the game, and swept the season series with AUM, defeating the Warhawks 74-42.

QUOTING THE COACH
"Got beat by a better team. They are the national standard at this level. It is a great lesson for us to show and it is where we need to be if we want to compete for GSC championships."
