MONTGOMERY, Ala. --- The Auburn University at Montgomery men's tennis team overcome a doubles point loss to win a tight 4-3 match over UT-Tyler in their season opener on Friday, Feb. 14 by recording four singles wins, while officially notching the program's first win as full-fledged members of NCAA Division II.
QUOTING THE COACH
"We mixed up our doubles order today, and did not play like we expected to," Head Coach
Yair Banuelos said. "We responded, however, with solid performances at the 1-5 in singles. There's a lot to improve upon, but it's always nice to start the year off with a win."
